All game drives are strictly conducted under Wildlife Department licenses. Our vehicles carry comprehensive commercial safari insurance, first aid equipment, and trained trackers.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Morning safari (6:00 AM – 9:30 AM) offers quieter surroundings, cooler temperatures, active birdwatching, and fewer vehicles. The Evening safari (2:30 PM – 6:00 PM) is the prime time for elephants to gather in large numbers on the reservoir shore as they come out of the deep forest to drink and socialize.

Our Elephant Safari Plus and Elephant Safari Pro packages include all official Department of Wildlife conservation entrance tickets, vehicle entry permits, and VAT taxes. The Standard Package covers only the jeep, driver, and fuel.

Yes! Our private 4x4 jeeps are safe and family-friendly. We drive at a gentle, controlled pace along established park tracks. If you are traveling with elderly guests or toddlers, inform us in advance so we can allocate our most cushioned vehicles.

Because elephants migrate daily between the 3 connected sanctuaries, our local trackers check morning herd movements daily. If herds have crossed into Kaudulla or Hurulu Eco Park, we will advise you and seamlessly switch your safari destination at no additional charge to ensure the best sightings!
